“Billionaire of Love”

We’re back, with another ditty intended to make you smile!

We swear, this song isn’t about Epstein!  It’s really just a guy who might or might not have a higher opinion of himself than the facts would bear out.

Look for (and listen to) “Billionaire of Love”, wherever you stream an buy music.

“I’m a Druid”

YOUR mama probably told you not to talk about religion (or politics) too!  But we do.  R.I.P., Mama!

This song was going to be featured on our 2009 EP “Safer Sects”, which never happened.  But here it is now.

“I’m a Druid”, now available on all major streaming and download services.

“Alexa, Buy This Song”

Alexa, Buy This Song cover artThe video for the PapaGanders’ new release, “Alexa, Buy This Song” is now available on YouTube, and the song can be streamed or purchased as a digital download from iTunes or YouTube Music (formerly Google Play). However, neither you nor Alexa can buy this song from the Amazon store. Why not? If you have an Alexa-equipped device from Amazon, turn up the volume and play this song, and you’ll find out why. (Hint: Alexa might just try.) And as much as we’d love to sell you our songs this way (or ANY way, for that matter), that just wouldn’t be right.

All of our songs can be streamed via Spotify, xBox Live, iHeartRadio, Jango, and other major providers. MOST of them can also be bought from Amazon!

“Don’t Tread on Me”

Don't Tread on Me cover artWe thought about writing an essay on the subject of how you don’t have to be a Tea Party member or sympathizer — in fact you could be the farthest in the world from it, and still embrace the truly patriotic and historically “Americana” sentiments that they would quote. That the difference is in the application of those sentiments, and our interpretation of their intent in the context of today’s world.

But nah, it’s just a song. If we accidentally created an anthem, so be it. That would be cool. On these matters, it’s better to sing a song than to shout.

See and hear “Don’t Tread on Me” now on YouTube, or support us by purchasing it as a digital download from iTunes, Amazon or Google Play. Our songs can also be streamed via Spotify, xBox Live, iHeartRadio, Jango, and other major providers.

New release — “Chosen”

Chosen cover artOur new single, “Chosen” is now available from major digital music providers.

“Chosen” is a departure from the PapaGanders’ usual political and social commentary. But then again, maybe alien abduction wouldn’t be a bad alternative to what’s going on in our world currently?

“Chosen” can be purchased as a digital download from iTunes or Amazon; streamed via Spotify, xBox Live, iHeartRadio or Jango; and either purchased or streamed via Google Play, among other major providers.

New release — “F.U. to the E.U.”

F.U. to the E.U. cover artOur Ode to Brexit, called “F.U. to the E.U.” is now available from major digital music providers.

“F.U. to the E.U.” can be purchased as a digital download from iTunes or Amazon; streamed via Spotify, xBox Live, iHeartRadio or Jango; and either purchased or streamed via Google Play, among other major providers.

And of course, we mean “Francis Urquhart”.

American Idol, circa 2007

Does this election remind anyone else of the year on American Idol with Sanjaya? We checked, and VoteForTheWorst.com doesn’t exist anymore (apparently the domain is for sale, if any enterprising satirists are interested… hmmm). Still, if you’re a conspiracy theorist, it’s not very hard to believe that the same people must be behind this.

(Not politically specific. This applies across-the-board.)

Throwback Thursday – Give It Up (for Cheney)

We can get so caught up in the current political insanity that we almost forget – political insanity is nothing new. So with that in mind, here’s another blast from 2008… our ditty about the esteemed former Veep:

When Super Tuesday becomes Stupor Wednesday

Well… the choices are narrowing. (Although, even when there were many more candidates, did we REALLY have so many good choices? Quantity = Quality? It didn’t seem so.)

But here we are, and to quote our song “Electile Dysfunction”:

“The better of two choices is the choice I want to make.
The lesser of two evils is just choosing which mistake.”

Good luck to us all.

Now available…
