The PapaGanders unleash an eclectic mix of political satire, parody and social commentary on the unsuspecting ears and minds of their listeners.

Conceived by two former I.T. co-workers (yes — Programmers! Geeks!), The PapaGanders are a true 21st Century “Virtual Band”. Based in Memphis, but using the resources of digital recording and broadband Internet connectivity, “Honorary Papas” include a sax player in Italy, lead guitarist in North Carolina, a singer in Birmingham, AL, another in Jackson, MS, and a number of top Nashville studio musicians and singers. There are even a couple of “Hot Mamas” in there. And they all played their parts without ever being in the same room with each other. If The Beatles could have done that, they’d have never broken up!

The PapaGanders’ first CD, “Electile Dysfunction”, took an irreverent look at the process and players of the 2008 election.  A selected group of these tracks was re-released in 2016.
